On the 2016 Elections

Don’t make it about Bernie versus Hillary. Make it about taking back the House & Senate, make it about helping the poor, the children, the elderly, the veterans. Make it about how NO ONE in the Republican field will do anything to help anyone. Make it about how they’re attacking civil rights, voting rights, gay rights, women’s rights. Make it about how they only care about the First Amendment. Make this about fighting for redrawing the districts to get rid of gerrymandering; make it about ensuring that no one be in fear of their lives. Make it about how government can be a place for everyone, that the job of the government is to make everyone’s lives better. Make this about how there’s a small fraction of the country which holds all of it’s wealth.

We HAVE to start fighting to get ultra-conservatives out of power NOW.

Because, if it’s not about that, not enough independents and liberals are going to show up on Election Day. So many moderates, independents, and liberals are already exhausted from this election, and the primaries haven’t even started yet. They’re already saying, “I’m so tired of choosing between the lesser of two evils.” They don’t understand what Democrats want to accomplish; they don’t understand that Republicans talk about “Jobs, jobs, jobs” but are only interested in legislating vaginas, preventing families in need from getting help, voting to repeal the Affordable Care Act, and investigating Benghazi… again.

So let’s not make this about Bernie versus Hillary, let’s make this about stopping the Republican power grab.
Please.
